ROYAL TRIPTYCH
This work represents the epistolary exchanges between Francis I and Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century, when the King of France sought an alliance with his Ottoman counterpart against Charles V. This triptych, which includes the Mediterranean area, symbolises the bridge between the West and the East that the two sovereigns built on this occasion.
